Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club is located at No 46 Frith Street. Soho House private members’ club are located in Greek Street and Dean Street. Century private members’ club is located in Shaftesbury Avenue.
Nearby Denmark Street is nicknamed the British Tin Pan Alley due to its large concentration of shops selling musical instruments. Carnaby Street is a pedestrianised shopping street. Close to Oxford Street and Regent Street, it is home to fashion and lifestyle retailers, including many independent fashion boutiques.
One of the coolest destinations of 1960s Swinging London.
“Perhaps nothing illustrates the new swinging London better than narrow, three-block-long Carnaby Street, which is crammed with a cluster of the ‘gear’ boutiques where the girls and boys buy each other clothing…”
