The finals of the FA Cup are true Great British events, with many across the country gathering in their living rooms or local pub to watch the big game. Nothing, however, beats being at Wembley Stadium.
The final this year, for the 133rd season of the tournament, is taking place on the 17th of May, which is a whole week after the Premier League season concludes, meaning the FA Cup will be a stand alone event for the first time in four years.
The FA Cup had 737 entries in 2013, and started on August 17, meaning that the final will be a match that will have been 274 days in the making.
Currently, ticket prices nor sale dates have not been announced for the FA cup final, but we’re keeping an eye out in the office for them. Part of our chauffeur service to you can also be securing your tickets and planning your travel to and from Wembley Stadium in one of our stylish vehicles.
Last year, the final saw the giants Manchester City face off against the underdogs Wigan Athletic. An incredibly tense match was played for over 90 minutes without a goal and then, during stoppage time (the additional time added to an end of a match to account for breaks within the game), Ben Watson of Wigan Athletic scored a daring header goal, allowing Wigan Athletic to win the FA Cup.
Although this win was hailed as one of the greatest events in the FA Cup in recent history, it is fully possible that the next final will also contain another great event to talk about, and there is no better way to enjoy it than by taking advantage of our chauffeur services and booking a stunning car to take you to Wembley Stadium.
