Goodwood and Glorious Goodwood Chauffeur
Goodwood Racecourse
Racing in Goodwood dates back to 1802 when it was introduced by The third Duke of Richmond. Today, Goodwood is internationally acclaimed as being one of the most beautiful courses in the world. Set on top of the Sussex Downs, Goodwood is one of the world’s greatest venues for entertaining in international sport, hosting 20 days of top class horseracing during the season.
Glorious Goodwood
Glorious Goodwood is one of the most prestigious and celebrated fixtures in the racing calendar. King Edward VII discarded formal dress in favour of a linen suit and Panama hat in 1906 setting the precedent for ‘Glorious Goodwood’ - defining English summer fashion. Ladies wear the classic English summer style, whilst gentlemen prefer linen suits and of course the Goodwood Panama hat.
