The most prestigious meeting in the horse-racing calendar is back and celebrating its centenary year.
The 2011 Cheltenham Festival kicks off with on Tuesday 15th March with Centenary Day. To celebrate 100 years of the Festival, hundreds of bowler hats will be given away free, so get there early to grab one. Depending on how your horse fairs in the Stan James Champion Hurdle you may want to throw it into the air in celebration, or onto the ground in frustration!
Wednesday 16th March is Ladies’ Day, when the horses in the Queen Mother Champion Chase aren’t the only attraction of the day – the fillies in the stand will be vying for the Best Dressed, Best Accessory and Best Hat prizes!
Thursday 17th March is a St Patrick’s Day celebration, and if the luck of the Irish doesn’t help in the Ladbroke’s World Hurdle, there’s plenty of craic at the St Patrick’s Day Parade with live music and Irish dancing.
The Centenary Festival ends in style on Friday 18th March with Gold Cup Day promising to be a thriller, as three former winners – Imperial Commander, Kauto Star and Denman – take on a field of hot new contenders. The guaranteed winners will be those enjoying the spectacle of Cheltenham.
And what better way to arrive in style than with iChauffeur? We have a stable of thoroughbred vehicles to choose from, including minibuses, the Mercedes Viano, the Mercedes S-Class, the BMW 7 Series or for true glamour the Rolls Royce Phantom and the Bentley Continental Flying Spur.
Whether you are a trainer, an owner, a jockey or a spectator, our chauffeurs will take you from door to racecourse and back again. Your driver will wait in the designated car park at Cheltenham Racecourse for the duration of your day, so you can enjoy the race without worrying about bags, umbrellas or hats, which your driver will be happy to look after.
