The Ladies day is known for being a highly fashionable event, where ladies compete to win the coveted Style on the Downs competition. All Queen’s Stand and Duchess’s Stand customers can enter themselves in the competition and celebrity judges choose their top ten Best Dressed Ladies. The Derby dates back to 1780, and is still ranked the greatest flat race in the world. With winnings of £1.25m, the Investec Derby has the biggest prize in money in UK racing, matched only by the prestige that victory brings.

Royal Ascot 2011

Royal Ascot 2011

Tuesday 14th to Saturday 18th June 2011

Royal Ascot is always a special occasion. A historic event which in 2011 will be even extra special. Ascot is commemorating 300 years of racing at the world famous Berkshire venue throughout 2011. Founded by Queen Anne in 1711, Ascot Racecourse is world famous and has a unique history and heritage.

For 2011, Ascot has adopted a special commemorative logo, which has been replicated all over the site on flags and banners. Fullers have brewed a limited edition “Tercentenary Ale” which will be available at the racecourse throughout the year.

One of the most visually compelling additions to the Royal Meeting in June, always the centrepiece of the racecourse’s year and the focal point of the tercentenary celebrations, will be the appearance of “the Queen Anne Rose,” honouring the racecourse’s founder.

iChauffeur would once again be delighted to offer you and your guests chauffeur-driven travel to Royal Ascot, the historic Royal horse racing meeting held at this beautiful Berkshire racecourse.

To celebrate 100 years of the Festival, hundreds of bowler hats will be given away free, so get there early to grab one. Depending on how your horse fairs in the Stan James Champion Hurdle you may want to throw it into the air in celebration, or onto the ground in frustration!

Wednesday 16th March is Ladies’ Day, when the horses in the Queen Mother Champion Chase aren’t the only attraction of the day – the fillies in the stand will be vying for the Best Dressed, Best Accessory and Best Hat prizes!
Thursday 17th March is a St Patrick’s Day celebration, and if the luck of the Irish doesn’t help in the Ladbroke’s World Hurdle, there’s plenty of craic at the St Patrick’s Day Parade with live music and Irish dancing.
The Centenary Festival ends in style on Friday 18th March with Gold Cup Day promising to be a thriller, as three former winners – Imperial Commander, Kauto Star and Denman – take on a field of hot new contenders. The guaranteed winners will be those enjoying the spectacle of Cheltenham.

And what better way to arrive in style than with iChauffeur? We have a stable of thoroughbred vehicles to choose from, including minibuses, the Mercedes Viano, the Mercedes S-Class, the BMW 7 Series or for true glamour the Rolls Royce Phantom and the Bentley Continental Flying Spur.
