Olympia - The London International Horse Show

17th - 22nd December 2007

In 1907, the First Royal International Horse Show took place in The Grand Hall Olympia . This year Olympia will celebrate the centenary of this event.

To mark the occasion there will be a Gala Centenary Evening Performance on Monday, 17th of December.

Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials 2007

Equestrian events don’t come much better than this, and the Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials is definitely worthy of being included as a Great British Event. For four days, the grounds of Burghley House, Stamford, Lincolnshire will be transformed into the Equestrian Social Event of the Year.

A tour de force in equestrianism skills, where the world’s best riders and horses will be put to the test on a course designed by Captain Mark Phillips, CVO.

Burghley is known for it’s shopping as well as for the sport, with stands and food walks available to tempt and entice.

On display at Burghley will include; Equine Ethology Display (Thur & Sun), Richard Davison Dressage (Fri), Pony Club Team Jumping (Thur), Burghley Young Event Horse Finals (Fri), Burghley Event Pony Finals (Sun), Parade of Foxhounds (Sun) and a Military Band (Sun).
