Goodwood Revival 2011:
Friday 16thSunday 18th September 2011,
at Goodwood Revival

After one glorious Goodwood event finishes the sporting estate is preparing for their season finale, the Revival. The Goodwood Revival is an event unlike any other. Historic racing bikes and cars are brought out from high security garages to be driven in anger around Lord March’s picturesque racing circuit near Chichester in Sussex. The event is a real blast from the past with wartime aircraft like the Spitfire and Lancaster flying overhead and on the ground the people are dressed with all the glamour and style of these bygone days.

Designed to recreate the "golden era" of motor sport. Irreplaceable racing machines from the exotic stables of Ferrari, Bugatti, Alfa Romeo are pitched against Aston Martin and Jaguar. Many of them are simply priceless and many are some of the most beautiful racing machines to ever grace the planet. It is not all multi-million pound vehicles though. Austin A40′s and souped up Fords take one back to the more grass roots of motor sport.

The Goodwood Revival is a melting pot of the sounds, smells and sights of 1940s, 50s and 60s. It is also a great oppurtunity to mingle with motor sport legends including Sir Stirling Moss, Richard Attwood, John Surtees and Derek Bell. Not to be missed.

To really get into the spirit of the party, book your chauffeur-driven car for this year’s Goodwood Revival.
