Goodwood Revival 09
18-19-20 September 2009
The Goodwood Revival is the world’s most popular historic motor race meeting, set back in time to recreate the golden era of motor sport, in the fifties and sixties. The Revival offers a unique insight into this glamourous and romantic period of motor-sport history, set against the fabulous back drop of Lord March’s Goodwood Estate.
For three days in September some of the most breathtakingly beautiful racing cars and bikes will be fuelled up to compete against each other, driven to their limit by some of the best drivers to ever grace a race circuit. Champions like Sir Stirling Moss, John Surtees, Sir Jack Brabham, Phil Hill, Derek Bell, David Coulthard, Damon Hill, Gerhard Berger, Johnny Herbert, Wayne Gardner, Giacomo Agostini and the late, great Barry Sheene have all competed at the celebrated Goodwood motor sport circuit. Launching there machines into the corners with as much aggression as they would have done in their racing heyday.
No other motor sport event quite matches this unique Goodwood fixture, a fabulous motor sport event which is not to be missed, and is a wonderful way to celebrate some fabulous men, women and the gorgeous motor cars and bikes.
