The Cheltenham Festival is the most prestigious meeting in the National Hunt calendar, and held at the Cheltenham Racecourse in Gloucestershire. The Festival Trials will be held this Saturday, the 24th January, and the Festival will be held between Tuesday 10th and Friday 13th March 2009. The highlight of the Festival is the Cheltenham Gold Cup, a Grade 1 National Hunt chase, open to horses which are five-years-old or above. In 2009 the Gold Cup is sure to be lucky for somebody on Friday, the 13th March.
