Described by King Edward VII as ‘a garden party with racing tacked on’, Glorious Goodwood is a stylish horse racing meeting and a Great British Event.

Ever since King Edward VII discarded formal morning dress in favour of a linen suit and Panama hat in 1906, ‘Glorious Goodwood’ started the now, quintessential English summer ‘look’ for gentlemen. Linen suits and ‘Goodwood’ Panama hats will always be in vogue. Glorious Goodwood has always been a fashionable event for the ladies too.

This year, the racing starts tomorrow, on the 29th of July and concludes on the 2nd of August.
