2007 Formula 1 British Grand Prix, Silverstone
22 year old McLaren protege Lewis Hamilton, set Melbourne alight in yesterday’s Australian Grand Prix. Finishing on the podium in third place, just behind his team mate and reigning World Champion Fernando Alonso. The young driver showed remarkable confidence and pace in his debut Grand Prix. Silverstone will be buzzing with support for all the British Drivers – David Coulthard, Jenson Button and Anthony Davidson, and if Hamilton’s season continues as it so gloriously started, the Hertfordshire born, Englishman will fire up the crowd, with a sea of Union Jacks fanning the flames.
For three days in July, Silverstone will echo with the sound of screaming F1 engines, helicopters and a most passionate crowd.
