James Thompson Shines at Brands

The WTCC at Brands Hatch got a little slippery for Andy Priaulx. The reigning WTCC champion struggled on the rain-drenched Brands Hatch circuit. Another Briton - James Thompson made the most of the situation and made it to the podium on both races—finishing 3rd for both sessions. This has lifted the Seat driving Yorkshireman to 2nd in the championship.

It is a long way to go in the championship but I am starting to be very competitive and I just have to keep making this sort of progress at every event and I will be there at the end.

Lets hope Jenson Button will be as successful at Silverstone, when the Formula 1 boys fire up the Northamptonshire circuit in June for this years British Grand Prix
