The Fat Duck

Chef Heston Blumenthal founded The Fat Duck restaurant in 1995 in the former The Bell Pub in Bray, Berkshire, England. Described as a culinary alchemist for his innovative style of cuisine. Heston Blumenthal’s work researches the molecular compounds of dishes so to enable a greater understanding of taste and flavour.

Ten years on The Fat Duck was named by Restaurant magazine as the best restaurant in the world, and it came second in both 2004 and 2006. It was awarded it’s 3rd Michelin star in January 2004.

Bray is also home to The Waterside Inn restaurant.

Le Gavroche

Opened in 1967 by brothers Michel and Albert Roux, Le Gavroche offers classic French cuisine and in 1982 was the UK’s first restaurant to gain 3 Michelin Stars.

After several years Michel left London to run The Waterside Inn in Bray.

Albert’s son, Michel Roux Jnr took over the kitchen in 1991 and remains the current head chef, and the restaurant currently holds 2 Michelin Stars amongst other prestigious awards.

The Butchers Arms

Situated in the village of Priors Hardwick, Warwickshire, this Portugese restaurant offers a lovely warm welcome and the finest cuisine and wines.
