Ultilizing the most environmentally friendly cars available at this class. The first Eco Chauffeur car available is the Lexus GS 450h SE-L. This car uses hybrid technology, consisting of electric and petrol motors which bring about significant benefits to it's emissions. It is designed to produce minimal air pollution and is certified as a Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (SULEV). It is still nowhere as environmentally friendly as a bicycle but it is a significant improvement over our standard cars.
Going Greener
We will be starting to Carbon-Offset all of our journeys in the coming weeks. We haven't yet decided on the right Carbon Offset programme yet, but are very keen to impliment this in the near future.
Alternative Fuels
The biggest challenge we face as a chauffeur business, is that there are no real green alternatives to our car fleet. The hybrid cars we are introducing, will replace conventionally powered vehicles from that class of vehicle. Yet many of our luxury cars have no eco-friendly alternative. So, in the meantime we are investigating alternative fuels such as bio-diesel and ethanol to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels.
